1. Where else can I follow you?
Grab our RSS feed or follow us on Twitter.
2. I don’t understand, what is that you do really?
The real estate and construction world in Aruba is as complicated as anywhere else in the world. We try to help make sense of it all for our readers by publishing free content.
3. Free content? Nothing is free, right?
Look, we tried to be compensated consultants over the internet but that turned out to be a can of worms. Clients weren’t willing to pay the fees accordingly; at the end we ended up giving thousands of dollars of free professional consultancy advice.
4. Your content is very good, can I still hire you?
In principle no. However, if you have an awesome assignment and are willing to pay the fees as stipulated in our Service Agreement, then we’re in. Contact us for more details.
5. Speaking of content, is all the content really yours?
Every opinion, analysis, study, rant, compliment etc. is strictly own original content. When official data is used such as provided by the Central Bank and Statistics Office the source will be clearly noted.

6. What’s your opinion on the general construction situation of Aruba
The local construction scene has been through a massive growth in activity during the last decade, without a doubt. However, according to the Central Bank the 2008 recession made the construction machine come to a screeching halt. The latest figures (2010) suggest soft mortgage lending by local banks, consequently the soft construction market will continue on the short term.
7. Are you suggesting to stay put with my plans to buy/build/lease/rent?
No. Quite the contrary. Commons sense is to enter the market now. This is the time the negotiate a better price.
8. Can you recommend a realtor/contractor/agent/accountant/attorney/hardware store?
We do compliment industry actors periodically in our written pieces, however, we won’t endorse any company publicly. If you ask our opinion privately we will offer it. We try to maintain an independent line as much as possible.
9. Can you give a hint as to where you believe is going to be the next hot spot?
Sure, San Nicolas.
